Paobelys (PaobelÃÂ, formerly , ) is a village in KÃÂdainiai district municipality of Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village residents numbered 293. It is located by the southeastern edge of KÃÂdainiai city, by the confluence of the Obelis and NevÃÂà ¾is rivers, next to the crossroad of the Jonava-à  eduva (KK144) and KÃÂdainiai-Babtai roads. The à  erkà ¡nys river passes through the village.
In the beginning of the 20th century, Paobelys was a small falwark.
During the Soviet era, Paobelys was subsidiary settlement of the "Spike" kolkhoz.
