Lanusei (; ) is a town and comune, which along with Tortolì is a co-capital of the Province of Ogliastra in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about northeast of Cagliari and about southwest of Tortolì. It has inhabitants.
Lanusei borders the municipalities of Arzana, Bari Sardo, Cardedu, Elini, Gairo, Ilbono, Jerzu, Loceri, Osini, and Tertenia.
