Gmina Wizna is a rural gmina (administrative district) in à Âomà ¼a County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Wizna, which lies approximately east of à Âomà ¼a and west of the regional capital Biaà Âystok.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population was 4,313 (4,344 in 2011).
The gmina contains part of the protected area called à Âomà ¼a Landscape Park.
Gmina Wizna contains the villages and settlements of Boguszki, Bronowo, Janczewo, Jarnuty, Kokoszki, Kramkowo, Lisno, Maà Âachowo, MÃÂczki, Mrówki, Nart, Nieà Âawice, Niwkowo, Nowe Boà ¼ejewo, Podkosacze, Ruà Â, Rusiniec, Rutki, Rutkowskie, Sambory, Sieburczyn, Srebrowo, Stare Boà ¼ejewo, Wierciszewo, Witkowo, Wizna, Wà Âochówka and Zanklewo.
Gmina Wizna is bordered by the gminas of Jedwabne, à Âomà ¼a, Piàtnica, Rutki, Trzcianne and Zawady.
