Gmina Szadek is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Zduà Âska Wola County, à Âódà º Voivodeship, in central Poland. Its seat is the town of Szadek, which lies approximately north of Zduà Âska Wola and west of the regional capital à Âódà º.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 7,350 (out of which the population of Szadek amounts to 2,007, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 5,343).
Apart from the town of Szadek, Gmina Szadek contains the villages and settlements of Antonin, Boczki, Borki Prusinowskie, Brondy, Choszczewo, Czarny Las, Dziadkowice, Górna Wola, Góry Prusinowskie, Grzybów, Jamno, Karczówek, Kobyla Miejska, Kotlinki, Kotliny, Krokocice, Lichawa, à Âobudzice, Nowy Kromolin, Ogrodzim, Piaski, Prusinowice, Przatów Dolny, Przatów Górny, Reduchów, Rzepiszew, Sikucin, Stary Kromolin, Szadkowice, Tarnówka, Wielka Wieà Â, Wilamów, Wola Krokocka, Wola à Âobudzka and Wola Przatowska.
Gmina Szadek is bordered by the gminas of à Âask, Warta, Wodzierady, Zadzim and Zduà Âska Wola.
