Gmina Ruja is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Legnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Ruja, which lies approximately east of Legnica, and west of the regional capital Wrocà Âaw.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population was 2,639.
Gmina Ruja is bordered by the gminas of Kunice, Legnickie Pole, Malczyce, Prochowice and Wàdroà ¼e Wielkie.
The gmina contains the villages of Dzierà ¼kowice, Janowice, Komorniki, Lasowice, Polanka, Rogoà ºnik, Ruja, Strzaà Âkowice, Tyniec Legnicki, Usza and Wàgrodno.
