Gmina Nowy Targ is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Nowy Targ, although the town itself is not part of the territory of the gmina.
The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 22,070.
Gmina Nowy Targ contains the villages and settlements of DÃÂbno, Dà Âugopole, Dursztyn, Gronków, Harklowa, Klikuszowa, Knurów, Krauszów, Krempachy, Lasek, à Âopuszna, Ludà ºmierz, Morawczyna, Nowa Biaà Âa, Obidowa, Ostrowsko, Pyzówka, Rogoà ºnik, Szlembark, Trute and Waksmund.
Gmina Nowy Targ is bordered by the town of Nowy Targ and by the gminas of Bukowina Tatrzaà Âska, Czarny Dunajec, Czorsztyn, Kamienica, à Âapsze Nià ¼ne, Niedà ºwiedà º, Ochotnica Dolna, Raba Wyà ¼na, Rabka-Zdrój and Szaflary.
