Coleen Watkins (also McClements) is an Irish former camogie player who had an Junior provincial club Medal at right -half -forward. She was club player of the year in 1981 and acummulated various other club accolades in a long career. Her cousin Cora-Jane Fitzsimons plays camogie in Dublin. She later married into the renowned McClements family and based herself close to their stronghold.
Watkins became her club's Under 14 captain in 1976. Then she followed by club's Under 16 captain in âÂÂ78, won an Under 16 league medal from âÂÂ77, an Under 18 league title from âÂÂ79 and another title in âÂÂ80. She also Div 2 runner up medal from âÂÂ80. Three (3) All Ireland intervarsity sevens, later followed by an All Ireland Club sevens. Co. junior Club: âÂÂ78, âÂÂ79, âÂÂ81, and Co. intermediate Club: âÂÂ92 after the move north, and as well as that is one provincial junior Club medal, and she won other junior titles with her club in âÂÂ88, âÂÂ89, âÂÂ90, âÂÂ91.
