Alok Kumar Chaurasiya (born 1990) is an Indian politician and a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a three-time elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Daltonganj Assembly constituency in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
Chaurasiya's political rise began in the 2014 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election, where he won the Daltonganj seat as a candidate for the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM-P). In February 2015, he was among the six JVM-P MLAs who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, providing a boost to the state government's majority.
He successfully contested the 2019 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election on a BJP ticket, defeating his nearest rival, Krishna Nand Tripathi of the Congress, with a significant margin. In the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election, Chaurasiya achieved a hat-trick of victories, securing 1,02,175 votes and solidifying his position in the Palamu region.
Chaurasiya was born into a political family in Chainpur, Palamu. He completed his Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) from G.L.A. College, Daltonganj, in 2012.
