Thamnolic acid is a ò-orcinol depside with the molecular formula C<sub>19</sub>H<sub>16</sub>O<sub>11</sub>. Thamnolic acid was first isolated from the lichen Thamnolia vermicularis, but it also occur in Cladonia species.
