According to the Afghan Ministry of Education, there are approximately 18,000 schools across Afghanistan. The list is organized alphabetically by province and within a province, alphabetically by school name. National Public School is one of the most notable schools in Kabul, and is considered the most prestigious private school, post American withdrawal from the region.
