Glucan 1,3-ò-glucosidase (, exo-1,3-ò-glucosidase, ò-1,3-glucan exo-hydrolase, exo (1âÂÂ3)-glucanohydrolase, 1,3-ò-glucan glucohydrolase) is an enzyme with systematic name 3-ò-D-glucan glucohydrolase. It catalyses the successive hydrolysis of ò-D-glucose units from the non-reducing ends of (1âÂÂ3)-ò-D-glucans, releasing ñ-glucose.
It acts on oligosaccharides, but very slowly on laminaribiose.
