Flavipin is a phototoxic, antibiotic and antifungal metabolite with the molecular formula C<sub>9</sub>H<sub>8</sub>O<sub>5</sub> which is produced by the fungi Aspergillus flavipes, Epicoccum nigrum and Epicoccum andropogonis. Flavipin is also a potent antioxidant.
