Diphenylmethylpiperazine

Diphenylmethylpiperazine, also known as benzhydrylpiperazine, is a chemical compound and a piperazine derivative. It consists of a piperazine ring substituted with a benzhydryl (diphenylmethyl) group attached to one of the nitrogen atoms.

Cyclizine, an antihistamine and anticholinergic drug used to treat motion sickness, is a methylated derivative of diphenylmethylpiperazine, while the antihistamine cinnarizine is another related derivative. 1-Benzhydrylpiperazine has been reported to produce "amphetamine-like effects".
