In enzymology, dihydrobunolol dehydrogenase () is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction
The two substrates of this enzyme are dihydrobunolol and oxidised nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP+). Its products are bunolol, reduced NADPH, and a proton.
This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-OH group of donor with NAD+ or NADP+ as acceptor. The systematic name of this enzyme class is (+/âÂÂ)-5-[(tert-butylamino)-2'-hydroxypropoxy]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthol:NADP+ oxidoreductase. This enzyme is also termed bunolol reductase.
