Core binding factor

The core binding factor (CBF) is a group of heterodimeric transcription factors.

Core binding factors are composed of:

• a non-DNA-binding CBFβ chain ()
• Human: CBFB
• a DNA-binding CBFα chain ()
• Human: RUNX1, RUNX2, RUNX3
