Antimonate minerals are those minerals containing the antimonate (SbO<sub>4</sub><sup>3âÂÂ</sup>) anion group, where antimony is in the 5+ oxidation state. Both the Dana and the Strunz mineral classifications place the antimonates in with the phosphate minerals.
