Aleglitazar is a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor agonist (hence a PPAR modulator) with affinity to PPARñ and PPARó, which was under development by HoffmannâÂÂLa Roche for the treatment of type II diabetes. It is no longer in phase III clinical trials.
