Abà « ÿAlë al-Ḥusayn ibn Aḥmad al-Bayhaqë al-SallÃÂmë was a historian of the SÃÂmÃÂnid Empire who lived in the mid-10th century.
Ibn Funduq records that al-SallÃÂmë studied under Ibrahëm ibn Muḥammad al-Bayhaqë. According to al-ThaÿÃÂlibë, he served the MuḥtÃÂjid emirs Abà « Bakr Muḥammad (d. 939) and Abà « ÿAlë ÃÂaghÃÂnë ().
Al-SallÃÂmë wrote an Arabic history of the , KitÃÂb wulÃÂt KhurÃÂsÃÂn, which is now lost. It is known only from citations in the works of others, primarily Gardëzë and Ibn al-Athër, both of whom cite him for the death of Abà « ÿAlë ÃÂaghÃÂnë and nothing later than that. In some cases, Gardëzë quotes him outright. He appears to have shaped a narrative favourable to the MuḥtÃÂjids. The KitÃÂb wulÃÂt KhurÃÂsÃÂn is also cited in YÃÂqà «t's IrshÃÂd, Ibn MÃÂkà «lÃÂ's KitÃÂb al-IkmÃÂl and Ibn KhallikÃÂn. Juwaynë in the 13th century is the latest author to cite it.
According to YÃÂqà «t, al-SallÃÂmë also wrote a KitÃÂb al-wuzarà('Book of the Viziers').
