Zhang Zhuo (; ca. 658 â ca. 730), courtesy name Zhang Wencheng (å¼µæÂÂæÂÂ), style Fuxiuzi (æµ®ä¼ÂÃ¥ÂÂ), was a writer of the Tang period. He was from Shenzhou (æ·±å·Â; modern Shenxian 深縣, Hebei).
Zhang Zhuo is known as the author of the Chaoye qianzai (; "Record of all Matters relating to the Court and abroad"), a collection of stories written in the "brush-notes" (biji çÂÂè¨Â) style. He also authored the encyclopaedia Longjin fengsui pan (é¾ÂçÂÂé³³é«Âå¤) and the novellette You xianku 游ä»ÂçªÂ, a noted work of chuanqi fiction.
