The Shirakawa branch was destroyed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi; but the Shimà Âsa branch survived as daimyà Âs of Yà «ki Domain in Shimà Âsa Province.

The main samurai vassals of the Yà «ki (Yà «ki shi-ten) included the Tagaya clan, the Mizutani clan, the Yamakawa clan and the Iwakami clan.
