Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Wetzel (15 July 1888 â 4 July 1964) was a German officer, finally General of the Infantry in the Wehrmacht of National Socialist Germany during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
