Waiûalae (Hawaiian pronunciation: [wÃÂjÃÂÃÂÃÂ<nowiki/>lÃÂe]) is a neighborhood of Honolulu on the island of Oûahu in Hawaiûi, United States. The Waiûalae means "mudhen water". The Waiûalae Country Club is here and Waiûalae Iki and Waiûalae Nui, which are above Waiûalae along the ridge, are located here, also. It is also home to Chaminade University of Honolulu. Val Ossipoff designed many organic homes and buildings in Waiûalae Nui.
