As of 2026, Lebanese citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 43 countries and territories, ranking the Lebanese passport 88th in the world according to the Henley Passport Index.
Citizens of the Republic of Lebanon do not need a passport when travelling to Iraq, they may use just their domestic national identification cards called in Arabic: è÷çÃÂé çÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂé (biá¹ÂÃÂqat al-hawiya) and in French: carte nationale d'identité.
