Violetta JâÂÂAdore (legal name Vasilis Theodoros Kyriakou; born 19 December 1996) is a Greek Cypriot drag queen, singer-songwriter, and fashion model based in London, United Kingdom. She is known for her international drag performances, original music releases, and contributions to LGBTQ+ entertainment across the United Kingdom and Europe. Her work blends contemporary pop and electronic music with Mediterranean and Greek cultural influences, and she has performed at major Pride festivals and live music events across Europe .
Violetta JâÂÂAdore began her drag career in 2017 while living in Chueca Madrid, Spain, where she was introduced to drag culture during her participation in the Erasmus+ programme. She later performed in Athens, Greece, before relocating to the United Kingdom, where she became active within the Brighton and London drag scenes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she participated in the first Greek Online Drag Fest, a nationwide digital event supporting drag performers in Greece. In September 2021 Violetta competed in the Miss Hellas Drag Pageant in Athens, a drag pageant organised by the greek drag queen Doukissa and judged by the fashion designer Lakis Gavalas, the dancer Marios Miltiadou (stage name: bimboy), and the queer model and performer Reject (also known as Lex).
In 2022 Violetta J'Adore performed at the Cyprus Pride 2022. Notably, she performed live with Katerina Stikoudi a duet on the main stage. In March 2023 she was selected to represent the UK and Greece in the first European final of the Miss Continental, the Queen of the North Continental pageant (part of the Continental Pageantry System founded by Jim Flint), organised by the first European winner of the Miss Continental, Vanessa Van Cartier. The pageant took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 10 June 2023.
From 2024 onwards, Violetta expanded her international profile, performing at major Pride festivals and live music events across the United Kingdom and Europe, including appearances at EuroPride and Croydon PrideFest, where she debuted original music in a live concert format.
Violetta has been characterised as an 'international drag queen talent' by QX Magazine, as 'popular across the scene', and 'a drag artist who's on the rise' by Gay London Life. Her shows and events have made it to the top ten of the Gay London Life best LGBTQ+ cabaret events lists for October 2023, November 2023, and December 2023.
Violetta JâÂÂAdore launched her music career alongside her drag performances, focusing on original material that blends pop, electronic, and Mediterranean influences.
Her debut single, âÂÂRule the NightâÂÂ, was released in May 2024 and introduced her as a live-singing drag performer. A live version of the track was released on 29 September 2024. In November 2024, she released the rock-influenced ballad âÂÂMy EverywhereâÂÂ.
In May 2025, Violetta released "Wave", a summer-inspired single incorporating Latin pop rhythms and Greek musical elements. The track received coverage from multiple music and culture publications and was noted for its beach-party aesthetic and themes of freedom and self-expression.
On 1 August 2025, she released âÂÂGiaseminâÂÂ, a bilingual Greek-English single inspired by her Cypriot heritage. The song incorporates traditional Greek vocal elements and themes of nostalgia, identity, and cultural reconnection. QX Magazine described the track as a reclamation of her roots and a defining artistic statement within her music career.

Vasilis Theodoros Kyriakou (stage name: Violetta J'Adore) was born in Limassol, Cyprus. He has lived and worked in several European cities, including Madrid, Athens, Brighton, and London. Violetta has stated in interviews that she is married and that her partner has been supportive of her career. She has also studied psychology.
