The racial makeup of the township was 94.42% White, 0.28% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.14% from other races, and 4.88% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.95% of the population.
