Veliki Cirnik (; ) is a village in the Municipality of Sevnica in east-central Slovenia. It lies southwest of à  entjanà ¾ in the historical region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.
The name Veliki Cirnik literally means 'big Cirnik', distinguishing the village from neighboring Mali Cirnik pri à  entjanà ¾u (literally, 'little Cirnik near à  entjanà ¾'). The name Cirnik is derived from the Slovene common noun cer 'Turkey oak', thus referring to the local vegetation.
The local church is dedicated to the Feast of the Cross and belongs to the Parish of à  entrupert. It dates to the late 16th or early 17th century.
