Velaine-sous-Amance (, literally Velaine under Amance) is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France.
The commune covers an area of 6.48 km<sup>2</sup> (2.5 sq mi). The current mayor is Cedric Baudouin.
