Vath Koreshi (1936–2006) was one of the most renowned Albanian novelists and screen writers. He is perhaps best known for writing a series of romans and novels such as âÂÂThe two Saturdays of Susana" (1971), âÂÂThe Hajji of Frakulla" and âÂÂThe marriage of Sako" (1980),âÂÂRequiem for a woman" (1995), "The wulf and the star" (1996), âÂÂA woman in yellow in Buddha Forest" (2003) etc., but also for writing scripts to the movies "Gjeneral Gramafoni" (1978); "Rrugë të Bardha" (1974). "Balada e Kurbinit" (1990) etc.
