VultureÃÂti is a commune in Olt County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Dienci, Valea lui Alb, VlÃÂngÃÂreÃÂti, and VultureÃÂti.
The commune is situated on the Wallachian Plain, on the left bank of the Olt River. It is located in the northern part of Olt County, on the border with Vâlcea County, from the county seat, Slatina.
The six-term mayor of the commune, Gheorghe TreanÃÂÃÂ, died in August 2021 in a hospital in Bucharest, of stomach cancer.
