Etymology
The specific name, hallieri, is in honor of German botanist Johann Gottfried "Hans" Hallier.
Geographic range
T. hallieri is found in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of T. hallieri is forest, at altitudes of .
Reproduction
T. hallieri is oviparous.
