The Turkish Lake District or Turkish Lakeland () is an area with a series of shallow tectonic lakes within the folds of the Taurus Mountains in Southwestern Anatolia, Turkey
The major lakes are Acñgöl (Sanaos), Akà Âehir (Philomela), Beyà Âehir (Koralis), Burdur (Ascanius), EÃÂirdir (Akrotiri), and the smaller ones are Akgöl, Lake ÃÂavuà Âçu (Ilgñn), Eber, Ià Âñklñ (ÃÂivril), Karamñk, Karataà Â, Kovada, Salda (Aulindenos), SuÃÂla (Trogitis) and Yarñà Âlñ.
