Tump, was established a separate district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.
In 24 February 2026, Notification released.
But on 9 March 2026 officially established it after bifurcation from Kech District. Tump's headquarters is at Tump city. Tump, previously part of the Turbat/Kech District, is located near the Iran-Pakistan border.
The historical name of Tump was Shahi Tump. In the local context and in English linguistic interpretation, the word âÂÂtumpâ refers to a small hill, mound, or raised piece of land (tumulus). Therefore, the term Shahi Tump can be understood to mean âÂÂRoyal Hillâ or âÂÂRoyal Mound.âÂÂ
