Trichostetha coetzeri is an Afrotropical species of flower scarab beetle endemic to South Africa, where it occurs in the Cape Floristic Region. It was first described by Perissinotto, Ã Â ÃÂpek & Ball, 2014.
T. coetzeri is endemic to the Elandsberg Mountains in the interior of South Africa's Western Cape, within the Cape Floristic Region. As a high-altitude montane species, it occupies a very limited range, reflecting a broader pattern within the genus Trichostetha, whose members are typically confined to mountainous habitats in this region.
