Trichostetha curlei

Trichostetha coetzeri is an Afrotropical species of flower scarab beetle endemic to South Africa, where it occurs in the Cape Floristic Region. It was first described by Perissinotto, Šípek & Ball, 2014.

Geography

T. coetzeri is endemic to the Elandsberg Mountains in the interior of South Africa's Western Cape, within the Cape Floristic Region. As a high-altitude montane species, it occupies a very limited range, reflecting a broader pattern within the genus Trichostetha, whose members are typically confined to mountainous habitats in this region.
