Thunder () is a 2022 Swiss drama film written and directed by Carmen Jaquier. Lilith Grasmug stars as Elisabeth, a young woman who, after spending several years in a convent school preparing to become a nun, returns home following her older sister's death and finds that her desires have changed.
Jaquier has said that the film was inspired by the discovery of old notebooks belonging to her great-grandmother, which revealed details about her daily life and her relationship with God.
The film premiered in the Platform section at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2022, and in the New Directors section at the 70th San Sebastián International Film Festival. The film was selected as the Swiss entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
