The Thu Bá»Ân River () is a river in central Vietnam, located in the municipality of Da Nang. It is formed by the confluence of the Tranh and Tiên Rivers on the boundary of Viá»Ât An and Hiá»Âp ÃÂức communes. It flows through several parts of the Da Nang municipality, among others the town of Há»Âi An, before emptying into the South China Sea on the boundary of Duy Nghéa commune and Há»Âi An ÃÂông ward.
The Thu Bá»Ân valley was a centre of Champa culture from 700 until the Vietnamese conquest in 1471. A Cham port used to be located at cá»Âa ÃÂại, the mouth of the river. Today boat trips from Há»Âi An up river to Mỹ Sán are a tourist attraction.
