The Minister's Friend

The Minister's Friend (Hungarian: A miniszter barÃÂ¡tja) is a 1939 Hungarian comedy film directed by Viktor BÃÂ¡nky and starring Antal PÃÂ¡ger, JÃÂºlia KomÃÂ¡r, Mici ErdÃÂ©lyi and BÃÂ©la MihÃÂ¡lyffi. It was shot at the Hunnia Studios in Budapest. The film's sets were designed by the art director Imre SÃÂ¶rÃÂ©s.

Synopsis

A chemical engineer is struggling to find work and is employed a shop assistant. Things change dramatically when he is mistakenly believed to a friend of a government minister.
