The House That Jack Built (1869 play)

The House That Jack Built; or, Harlequin Progress, and the Love's Laughs, Laments and Labors is an 1869 Australian stage play by William Mower Akhurst. It was adapted for Sydney audiences by an unknown author in 1871.

It has been called the first Australian written play to impact upon a significant number of theatregoers.

It was a pantomime set in Australia.
