The Babysitter is a 1969 American exploitation film directed by Don Henderson.
The movie was a big commercial success for Crown International Pictures, who distributed. It led to a 1970 sequel, Weekend with the Babysitter.
An Assistant District Attorney is about to prosecute members of a motorcycle gang for murder when he gets blackmailed because of an affair with a teenage babysitter, Candy.
Variety called it "an L.A. - made sexploiter that finally emerges as a bit more than that by dint of heavy suggestion that middle-aged middle-class wife does not pay enough sexual attention to middle-aged middle-class husband. A cliche... but at least an unusual cliche to be found in sexploiter trapping."
The Los Angeles Times said it "is just as sordid and trashy as any ticket buyer could hope yet has some scenes of true merit."
