Thallomys

Thallomys is a genus of rodent in the family Muridae endemic to Africa. It contains four species:

• Loring's rat (Thallomys loringi)
• Black-tailed tree rat (Thallomys nigricauda)
• Acacia rat (Thallomys paedulcus)
• Shortridge's rat (Thallomys shortridgei)
