Te Kakapi-o-te-rangi Te Wharepà Âuri (c. 1895 – 22 November 1842) was a Te ÃÂti Awa leader who played a significant role in the Wellington region in the early 19th century.
Te Wharepà Âuri belonged to the NgÃÂti Te Whiti and NgÃÂti Tawhirikura hapà « of Te ÃÂti Awa. He was the first cousin of Hà Âniana Te Puni-kà Âkopu.
Te Wharepà Âuri died on the 22nd of November 1842 in NgÃÂà «ranga. His body was taken to Pito-one for burial & a waka maumaharatanga was erected in NgÃÂà «ranga.
