TazlÃÂu is a commune in NeamÃÂ County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of a single village, also named TazlÃÂu.
TazlÃÂu Monastery is located in the village.
The commune is situated at the western edge of the Moldavian Plateau, in the foothills of the TarcÃÂu Mountains. It lies at an altitude of , on the banks of the river TazlÃÂu.
TazlÃÂu is located in the southern part of NeamàCounty, from the county seat, Piatra NeamÃÂ, on the border with BacÃÂu County. It neighbors the following communes: BorleÃÂti to the north, Balcani to the south, TarcÃÂu and Zemeàto the west, Rediu and CândeÃÂti to the east.
The TazlÃÂul Mare oil field is located on the territory of the commune.
