Syntypistis umbrosa is a species of moth of the family Notodontidae first described by Shà Ânen Matsumura in 1927. It is found in India, China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan), Taiwan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
