Syneta extorris extorris <small>Brown, 1940</small><span style="color:gray"><sup> i c g</sup></span> â dark males, restricted to higher elevations in the southern Appalachian Mountains, feeds on southern fir (Abies fraseri) and red spruce (Picea rubens).
