Stropkov District (okres Stropkov) is a district in the Preà ¡ov Region of eastern Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the county of Kingdom of Hungary of ZemplÃÂn, apart from an area in the north west around DuplÃÂn, Tisinec, Kruà ¡inec, VÃ½à ¡kovce, Vislava, OÃ¾à ¡avka, Gribov and Koà ¾uchovce which formed part of the county of à  arià ¡.
It has a population ofÃÂ people (31 December ).
