The St. Thomas Mount Assembly constituency wasÃÂ one of the 234ÃÂ state legislative assemblyÃÂ constituencies inÃÂ Tamil Nadu, aÃÂ stateÃÂ in southernÃÂ India. It was in existence for theÃÂ 1967 and 1971ÃÂ assembly elections. At that time, this constituency was represented only by the formerÃÂ chief minister of Tamil NaduÃÂ M. G. Ramachandran. Later, it was merged with the Alandur assembly constituency from theÃÂ 1977ÃÂ assembly election.
