St. John's Harbour, also known as Deepwater Harbour, is the largest port in Antigua and Barbuda. Located in the country's main financial hub, Downtown St. John's, the area was chosen as the site of a planned city in 1668. At that time, the harbour was simply known as "The Cove". The French had attempted to attack the harbour during their 1666 invasion. The harbour provides services for both shippers and tourists. The facility has a draught of . Ships have no width limit.
