Spathodus

Spathodus is a small genus of cichlids endemis to Lake Tanganyika in east Africa.

Species

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:

• Spathodus erythrodon <small>Boulenger, 1900</small>
• Spathodus marlieri <small>Poll, 1950</small>
