Sog (; more commonly Sogið ) is a river in Iceland. It runs from the lake ÃÂingvallavatn for to its confluence with the river HvÃÂtá, forming the river ÃÂlfusá which then runs for another into the Atlantic Ocean. Its average discharge is .
There are three hydroelectric power stations on the river: Ljósafossstöð (15 MW), ÃÂrafossstöð (48 MW) and SteingrÃÂmsstöð (27 MW).
