Shuvendu Das Shuvo

Shuvendu Das Shuvo is a Bangladeshi guitarist, music composer, singer, and record producers. He is a prominent figure in contemporary Bangladeshi music and is widely known for his extensive work with Coke Studio Bangla, where he has contributed as a composer, arranger, and instrumentalist.

Shuvo is recognised for his expressive guitar playing and his ability to blend diverse musical traditions. His work combines Bangla melodic structures with jazz harmony, Latin rhythm, and contemporary fusion elements.

Career

Coke Studio Bangla

Shuvendu Das Shuvo has been a regular contributor to Coke Studio Bangla across multiple seasons. He has worked on productions including Bulbuli, Murir Tin, Darale Duare, and Long Distance Love.

In Season 2, he produced Ghum Ghum, a jazz-inspired tribute to legendary musician Lucky Akhand, performed by Fairooz Nazifa.

During Season 3, he composed and arranged Long Distance Love, noted for its restrained orchestration and black-and-white visual presentation.

He also produced Café, which fused Bangla lyrics with Latin jazz and Afro-Cuban musical influences.

Independent and collaborative work

In 2025, Shuvo produced and arranged the song Gulbahar, which gained wide popularity on digital platforms.
