Shiroi Station is served by the Hokusà  Line and is located 17.8 kilometers from the terminus of the line at .
This station consists of a single ground-level island platform serving two tracks, with the station building built above.
Shiroi Station was opened on 9 March 1979. On 17 July 2010, a station numbering system was introduced to the Hokusà  Line, with the station designated HS10.
In fiscal year of 2018, the station was used by an average of 9,048 passengers daily.
